Deep Blue is a Scuba Diving School in Southern Germany for which a redesign of the Corporate Identity and also a Web redesign was done.
Briefing
The Scuba Diving School strives for a more professional presentation. In the words of the client: "I would like to distant myself from the stereotype of a ClipArt as logos and a template as web. The new image shall have its own unique identity, transmitting professionalism, responsibility and quality, a diving school which offers professional courses by competent trainers with a personal touch, and an appealing, joyful image."
Idea
The slogan of the diving school is: "Discover a new experience of life" Therefore the logo should transmit an emotion rather than something concrete. The idea was to create a logo with multiple interpretations within the world of scuba diving: waves, bubbles, whale, goggles…
The colors used needed to relate to the water world, enriching the color range of the old logo, strengthening the presence of the color blue which gave the school its name.
